Set in a black box theatre, the installation offered multiple options engaging the five senses. Some elements’ positions were predefined: A big suit case in the middle, a projector in one side and a sculpture made of boxes and chairs. But everything changes when the audience is invited to modify the space...

Lines was an installation developed in the context of the MA Performance Design, at the University of Leeds. It provided a multi-sensory space to experience body awareness.

At first, the audience was feeling confused, but then they started to feel curious about the space and they began to interact with it. Some of them took colour tape and built a huge spider web. Others engaged themselves with the projections, performing a dozen of combinations of light and haze…
